Ms. Shaikha Al-Mutairi

Ms. Sheikha Al Mutairi is a widely renowned Arabic and international poet living in the UAE. One of her several poems, entitled “I hide my worries,” was recited at the Dubai International Poetry Festival. She has participated in many poetry events, namely: Arab youth poetry festival in Bahrain and Al Shariqa Arab poetry symposium.

Ms Sheikha Al Mutairi earned a degree in the Arabic language and its literature from the Islamic and Arabic college, a higher diploma in Arabic and is currently studying for her master’s degree at Thamar University. She works as head of national heritage department in Juma’a Al Majed for culture and heritage. She also forms part of a poetry panel on MBC’s program, titled ‘Words’ Passion’.
