In the symphony of dawn’s soft light,

Amidst the tapestry of sky and earth,

A symphony of values finds its birth,

Collective spirits, minds aligned,

Forge pathways where solutions bind.

Sustainability, our guiding star,

A vision bright, near and far,

Complex challenges may arise,

But united, we’ll claim the prize.

From land to sea, from peak to plain,

A harmonious blend, a balanced refrain,

Environmental, social, economic grace,

In harmony, our goals we trace.

Let’s forge ahead with vision clear,

A world of hope drawing near,

For in collective visions, truths unfurled,

Lies the blueprint of a sustainable world.

About the Poet 

Zeena Maryam, is an 8th grade student at Abu Dhabi Indian School, Muroor, Abu Dhabi. Literature holds a special place in her heart, and her favourite poets include Lang Leav and Donna Ashworth. The poem ‘A Symphony for Sustainability’ is her heartfelt ode to a future built on sustainability.
