Maybe
Maybe one day there is no violence
maybe one day it will be enough
is that too much to ask?
is it really that tough?
walking down this street all sad
the state of this place makes me mad
why are all people divided in two
anger is often, courtesy is few
how do we alter this, I wonder
is there a button to start again?
or are we stuck in this loop
are we stuck in this mellow, pain
or we could become the change
and one day we shall all see
humanity is a question
it is what we want it to be
will we all sacrifice?
to be free, flying above
will we put our trust in each other?
will we put our trust in love?
only then will we see the colours as they are
when we know we’re not on our own
or maybe we’ll continue living in this darkness
melancholy, together but alone.
