Light The Fire
Blazing through the flow of wind
A flickering flame that dances with every breath of air
Yet the colder it gets the smaller it becomes
It provides life, but only with life can it survive
We have lived through winters of woe
Alone we would frost
But together that flame would become hotter
Every step closer is an inch brighter
A burning fire would bring warmth in an abyss of cold
A flame with other flames surviving and thriving
Together we learn the values of life
In union we learn the power of might
When the cool has passed we forget
We forget about why we need the heat
We forget the painful frigid We forget the sacrifices
We made to feel the warmth
When the cool has passed we forget
We forget about why we need the heat
We forget the painful frigid
We forget the sacrifices we made to feel the warmth
When the cool comes once more
The air becomes cold and the flame starts to die
We become weak and start to shiver
And the flame would no longer flicker
But together we would be able to survive
With others we would be able to thrive
Only with others will we be able to rekindle the flame
Only together will we be able to light the fire
