Life is a Conundrum of Esoterica
Walking down the streets,
And then by a beach.
Through the vast forests,
And deep seas.
I see not only,
Humans that try,
But animals and environment,
Depend as we thrive.
Through the farm,
I see how plants,
Nurture and grow,
Within the care of souls.
Through the forest,
I see how animals,
Help in the process,
Of naturing pearls.
Though thou life,
Depends on thou.
And how thou behaves,
With all around.
Through thou may
Be helping through.
But the need of coexistence,
Is one thing that will stay.
The plants thou grows,
Feeds one and all.
The animals that feed,
On plants around.
Help get food,
And clothes for thou.
As we try to,
Get advantage of all.
This coexistence,
will always continue.
There’s no turning back,
Once thou arrives in tune.
Life, however now,
Does not seem to be.
Animals,Humans and Environment,
All left apart.
The world is vast,
The world is wide,
But one cannot,
Live superior otherwise.
About The Poet
Agam is an aspiring poet and writer who enjoys exploring different kinds of poetry. She believes in the power of words as they influence emotion and paint pictures in the mind’s eye. While writing the poem “Life is a Conundrum of Esoterica”, under the theme of co-existence, she thought of how simple actions taken in one’s life and how one reacts to them can cause disbalance in the environment around us. After all, humans have the choice of changing or destroying the earth.
