Don’t give up
When life is like a roller coaster, as sometimes it will,
When the path to walk seems all unsloping,
When the mind is low and the expectations are high,
You’ll want to cry but have to smile,
When worry is putting you down,
Rest, as you must, but don’t give up.
Be proud of your existence,
proud of your perseverance,
Believe as there is strength within you, there is resilience,
Rest, as you must, but don’t give up.
Like a tree it sways,
First a little then alot,
Suddenly it turns wild, then stormy.
Branches move, then crackle
And at last break falling to the ground,
Rest, as you must, but don’t give up.
