An Isle Of Forgotten Memories
An aisle of forgotten memories
stretches and stretches far
“Has remorse beset your soul?” echoed the sombre walls
Do these tenebrous shadows conceal the crimes at all?
Haunted by the past shall some
drown in the waters of misery
But skins consumed by wrinkles
shall smile and emerge from the ashes of time
Besides them a world resides
forgiven by their gentle eyes.
And with the strength of a thousand billows
Slowly surging on the sea
Hope shall gush into this aisle, this aisle of forgotten memories.
