Mahmood Noor Mohammad Mosae specializes in Arabic literature. He writes national and cultural songs and is the head of the Government Communications Department in the National Program and is a Member of the Faculty of the Dubai Police Academy, since October 2010.

In addition to the administrative works, he is responsible for teaching Arabic Language and Literature to students in different stages of transitional, college and non-natives, offering special courses in Arabic grammar and rhymes, supervising and co-ordinating programs and courses with various government and private bodies.

Mahmoud has a Bachelors degree in Arabic Language and Literature, Academic Year (1992-93) and has been General Director of Arabic Institute for Studies. He has been involved in the preparation and submission of several radio and television programmes such as ‘Encounter with a poet’ from Sharjah TV, ‘Asma la la-Noib’ from Dubai Radio and ‘Jawahar’ from Sama Dubai TV. He has written a number of introductions, articles and critical studies that have been published in various literary publications.

He has received various awards of appreciation such as – Rashid Award for Scientific Excellence, Culture and Science Symposium, Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Award, Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi Award, etc. Some of his literary works have been registered with the special department of His Highness the President of the State, in 2003.

Mahmoud has participated in organizing and reviving a number of cultural and literary evenings on poetry. He has served as lecturer in the course of presentations and rhyme – Department of Media and Culture in Sharjah.  He has attended several conferences and seminars such as:

• National Initiatives for Gender Mainstreaming in the United Arab Emirates for Organization of the General, Women’s Union in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), 2008.
• Forum of civil society organizations parallel to the Fifth Future Forum, Dubai 2008
• Ministerial Meeting of the Future Forum (5th Session) Abu Dhabi 2008
• Civil Action Forum (First Session) Organization of the Ministry of Social Affairs 2008
• Training course on the International Bill of Human Rights / Organization of the Community Development Authority in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), 2008
• A course in the preparation and presentation of talk shows under the supervision of Dr. Faisal Al Qassem. Arab Media Forum (8th Session) organized by Dubai Press Club, 2009
• Fifth Dubai International Police Academy Conference (The Will to Change in a Changing World) 2010.
