The earth is a ball
But don’t kick it around
Don’t stab it or crush it,
But esteem it,
For it is the cradle
And the grave.
So tread on it gently
And wipe her forehead with your right hand
Or caress her cheek
For she is the mother of all mankind
Like the first Mother Eve
But she is also the mother of all created things
The trees..
The flowers..
The cattle..
The birds..
The rivers..
The mountains..
She is the mother of water and fire..
So protect it
Save its freshness
And protect her environment,
Against all wars and destruction,
Against all the greedy and evil guys,
Against all atomic bombs
And chemical weapons
And biological weapons
Don’t turn it into a ticking time-bomb
With your abominable selfishness.
××
The World is a ball
Full of secrets
In this rotating universe
It is full of temporary life and stability
So appreciate its value
And defend it against the various hazards.
Touch her forehead with your forehead:
Prostrate yourself in worship
Of the All-giving and All-forgiving Creator.
