They themselves come to know the heights of the skies,
the birds are never taught the art of flight in any school. 

When there is courage in the heart, no goal is too difficult,
Only the faint-hearted speak of exhaustion. 

Those who hate life, let them ponder this too,
There’s no shortage of reasons to live in this world. 

The only task of fragrance is to smell (nice) and spread the same,
Fragrance is never dependent on the admiration of the worthy. 

In every circumstance, it keeps us safe from the storm,
Roofs  of the houses built on hope are strong. 

वो ख़ुद ही जान जाते हैं बुलन्दी आसमानों की,

परिन्दों  को नहीं तालीम दी जाती उड़ानों की।  

जो दिल में हौसला हो तो कोई मंज़िल नहीं मुश्किल,  

बहुत कमज़ोर-दिल ही बात करते हैं थकानों की।  

जिन्हें जीने से नफ़रत है, ज़रा वे सोच लें यह भी,

कमी थोड़ी है इस दुनिया में जीने के बहानों की। 

महकना और महकाना है केवल काम ख़ुश्बू का, 

कभी ख़ुश्बू  नहीं  मोहताज होती क़द्रदानों की। 

हमें हर हाल में तूफ़ान से महफ़ूज़ रखती हैं, 

छतें मज़बूत होती हैं उमीदों के मकानों की।
