Pioneers of Nature
Yesterday, the past dwells as a requiem of our choices,
Every chance, granted its own consequences,
The carefully carved mosaic of Mother Nature,
Tainted with a hue of pleonexia,
A solemn reminder to toil for the surface and beneath, Pioneers of nature, we shall bequeath.
Today, the present perpetuates an accolade of our progress,
Every moment, a cry for this unsustainability to suppress,
Our commitment a whole, stands like a rose,
Crimson bold, yet dark and thorny,
A plea of hope to you and them, Pioneers of nature, we are its stem.
Tomorrow, the future encompasses the essence of life
In its finest glory, in a finest dream,
Our world is ours, no one else’s,
This dream is ours, no one else’s, Do we blame? Or do we change?
Pioneers of nature, we ask this question.
