As I watch her,

Glow ever so brightly,

Under the veil of the moonlit sky,

I am beyond fascinated.

A I watch her,

Emit a breath-taking aura,

She sways and dances as the winds go by,

How could I not be enchanted?

Oh, dear Mother earth,

May you find peace within our vast universe,

For as peace is a state of tranquility and ease,

For as this state means being liberate and free.

Our beloved Mother Earth,

Ever so blissful and kind,

As you reach through the depths of the soil laid beneath,

May you find peace within our lands, seas, skies, and everything in between.

In our hands, she rests,

Destinies and fortunes expressed,

As the constellation connects,

She as ethereal, as she can be.

In our hearts, she resides,

Souls and fates intertwined,

As the starts align,

She, as graceful as she can be continuing to shine.

About the Poet 

Leslie is a student at the Far Eastern Private School Branch. Apart from being an award winning student, she is a head choreographer for her school’s dance troupe, as well as a Supreme Student Council Secretary. Leslie is an individual who has always taken interest in poetry and writing as well.
