Many may come and tear you apart
Slitter your dreams,
Like you were never worthy to have.

Time may pass and lag you behind Enraptured in your screens,
Like that’s all what you can.

Fate shall mock you all the way down Seeing no gleams
Like it’s time to give up.

For it’s easy to stop, turn back and run. But the real hero is born When steps are taken ahead.

Whatever that hold you back
Slay those shackles
And do all what you desire

No matter what a perfect man was
you don’t have to follow
Uninscribed laws on ideal characters For history makers never came From an obedient child.

You are more than what you know
For with a mended heart and an aching soul You showed a great resilience To griefs and pains untold.

Biji Sara Binu is  B-Tech 3rd semester student at Manipal Academy of Higher education, Dubai.

Being a student pursuing engineering structures and designs, mathematical equations, theorems, etc has always fascinated her. Yet poetry always made space to help her to think differently from just a machine-programmed person. It helped Biji  bring out the real her within, to motivate herself in each step forward as well as spread love and happiness to others through my poetry.
