A Mother’s Hope
These arms of mine
Cradled her shine
With burning hope
That she recalls
The warmth I gave
To her cold feet.
The love she craved
She got from me.
I hope she just
Remembers; she must.
And so I cradle
A life, to see
If all my hopes
Have destiny.
