Chunqi Wang is currently in Grade 9 and wrote the poem ‘Peace’ during her own time with high hopes of gaining recognition. Her home language is mandarin and she is 13 years of age. Regent International School is incredibly proud of Chunqi’s achievement.

Peace is a little child,
Bringing us understanding and love,
Her magic influences everyone,
Ceasing disputes and wars.
Peace is a naughty little child,
Sometimes she’s here, sometimes she’s not,
Short lasting like a shooting star,
She was here, but in a blink she’s gone.
Peace is a needed little child,
When she’s not here, tranquility is gone.
Magic is precious and priceless,
We’ve see what the wars have done.
She knows where she’s needed,
She is always going to come,
We might have to wait and pray,
But just know, she is a little child.
