    In the land of the Emirates . But that does not give you your due 

You are a beloved model in our hearts  

     As if you were a hero from our glorious past 

And you are a legend to the eye, strutting between the letters of the                                   Arabic Alphabet like the first letter Alif 

You always have a great positive influence on Arabic 

     Seeking to render services to the language of the Qur’an with passion 

And today your sophisticated Historical Dictionary of Arabic 

     Honours us in the world of scientific historical research  

The sun of the Emirates shines today, on Shining Sharjah and 

   On the page of honor  

Of the Guinness Book of Records, saying 

    May Allah bless you and your great efforts 

You have added something new. He is not great  

   Who does not innovate in the world and add to its achievements 

May your Lord give you long life and health 

   And fulfil all your lofty aims. 

كنّا نسمّيك سلطانَ الثقافة في 

      أرض الإمارات .. لكن ذاك ليس يفي  

فأنت أنموذجٌ في القلب نعشقه 

      كأنه بطل من أعصرِ السلفِ 

وأنت أسطورة للعين ماثلة 

      تختال بين حروف الضاد كالألفِ 

في كلّ حين لكم في الضاد مأثرة 

      تسعى إلى لغة القرآن في شغفِ 

واليوم معجمك الراقي يشرفنا 

      في عالم العلم والتاريخ والتُّحَفِ 

شمس الإمارات تزهو اليوم مشرقةً 

      به وشارقة في صفحة الشرفِ  

تنير موسوعة “الجِينيس” قائلة 

      لله درّك من فذِّ ومن خلفِ 

أضفت شيئا جديداً .. ليس ذا خطرٍ 

      من ليس يبدع في الدنيا ولم يضفِ 

أعطاك ربُّك أَعماراً وعافية  

      تعطى بها كل ما أحببت من هدفِ
