O! Emirates, you are a beautiful dream 

   achieved by strong arms and minds 

And nurtured with all love by Sheikhs and men who struggled hard 

Zayed was a genius in leaderaship, with no equal or peer 

A great unifier and an exceptionally generous Arab 

  Generosity flowed on his palms 

And around him Rashid and the Sheikhs of the Emirates 

   who were true to their resolve, so the path became clear 

Followed by Khalifa and the other heirs  

  Who completed the enormous construction. 

And the two Muhammads shined,  

   each registering a unique fingerprint.

O! Emirates, you are a deep love in our hearts and you are an    umbrageous shade for all  

Half a century passed like a dream of a night spent in growth and bounty 

One step after another in ascension and prosperity towards great goals 

You are a model for every country that cares about building the world and its beautification 

The happiness of its people and their development in safety  

   are its concern  

O! Emirates, you are a beautiful dream that was achieved by     

   strong arms and determined sincere minds 

يا إماراتُ أنت حلم جميلُ حققته سواعدٌ وعقولُ 

ورعته بكل حبٍ شيوخٌ ورجالٌ لهم كفاحٌ جليلُ 

زايدٌ كان قائداً عبقرياً ليس ندٌ له وليس مثيلُ 

وحدوياً ويعربياً كريماً الندى فوق راحتيهِ سيولُ 

وحواليه راشدٌ وشيوخٌ صَدَقوا العزم فاستبان السبيلُ 

وتلاهم خليفةٌ  وبنوهم يكملون البناءَ فهو يطولُ 

وتجلى المُحمَّدان لكلٍ منهما بصمةٌ وسيفٌ صقيلُ

يا إماراتُ أنت في القلب حبٌ مستفيضٌ وأنت ظلٌّ ظليلُ 

نصفُ قرنٍ كحلم ليلٍ تقضى في نماء والخير فيكِ جزيلُ 

خطوةٌ بعد خطوةٍ في ارتقاءٍ وازدهارٍ حتى يتمَّ الوصولُ 

أنتِ أنموذجٌ لكلِّ بلادٍ تَعمرُ الأرضَ دأبها التجميلُ 

رفعةُ الشعبِ همُّها في أمانٍ دونه السعي للعلا مستحيلُ
